Interceptor Cleaning & Removal
Interceptors work by separating water coming from the drainage system from any contaminants picked up en-route, such as oil, silt and dirt. The contaminants build up overtime in the interceptor and can cause blockages. These blockages can cause forecourt flooding and the risk of pollutants contaminating the watercourse. If an interceptor overflows, it could result in a car park or forecourt etc; covered in oil which is potentially very dangerous for both customers and staff. Regular emptying of interceptors can keep sites running efficiently, avoiding environmental incidents. KpH have many years of experience in dealing with large quantities of oil and water from interceptors and have efficient and compliant interceptor emptying methods and services.
