Brief Description:

KpH were awarded the project by new client Kirkman & Jourdain to remove and transfer heavy plant & workshop equipment from King’s College Guy’s Campus to St Thomas’ Hospital.

Scope of Works

  • There were two rooms filled with old equipment and engineers tools that required removing from one location and delivering to St Thomas’ for storage
  • KpH carefully planned out the method for the removal through tight corridors without causing any damage or disruption
  • Using specialist lifting equipment the operatives minimised manual handling and safely moved everything to the loading bay for removal
  • The large heavier items were loaded onto a Hiab for transportation
  • Two KpH vans were loaded with the smaller equipment and waste
  • The experienced team carried out the works to a high standard and site was handed over to the client on completion
