The works comprise of the internal Strip Out back to shell, including the removal of:

  • soft and hard floor finishes
  • plasterboard removed to expose blockwork walls
  • solid parameter ceilings
  • blockwork walls removed
  • purlins unbolted and removed
  • roof panels removed
  • extension removed and new footings laid

Whilst undertaking strip out works the client requested we also undertake the removal of the shop concrete floor and create a new lift shaft.

Tank Clean and Forecourt Repairs:

KpH supplied tankers to make four underground tanks safe. The vessels were made temporarily safe by filling with water to allow the demolition and construction works across the forecourt and shop.

The site was tight and located on the corner of a busy road, with other contractors working on site the team had to be extremely methodical in remedial works on the forecourt. A detailed health and safety file was put together to maintain a safe working environment at all times and keeping to the client’s tight programme.

Alterations were needed to the existing forecourt. Our in-house CPCS machine operator carefully removed the existing concrete to the front of the shop and down the left hand side of the forecourt. Following this the team installed new drainage and resurfaced the forecourt along with Williams site team.
